Signature Recipe

Blue Cheese Butter for Steaks

A topper is a great way to add different flavors on your favorite steak. Try this butter topper the next time you're preparing Nolan Ryan's Steaks. Also great on baked potatoes and breads.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Servings: Makes approximately 2 cups

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 tsp. jalapeno pepper sauce
1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tsp. snipped (finely sliced) fresh chives
1/2 to 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled

Directions
Cream softened butter and cream cheese together with mixer. Add jalapeno pepper sauce and lemon juice and mix well. Carefully fold in remaining ingredients. Divide mixture into 2 batches. Place one half of mixture on a sheet of plastic wrap. Fold plastic wrap over butter and shape into a log. Twist ends of plastic wrap to seal. Repeat with remaining butter mixture. Refrigerate until ready to use.

To serve, slice off chilled log and place on top of a warm Nolan Ryan's All-Natural steak right before serving. Try this on your favorite steak cuts -- ribeye steak, top loin or strip steaks and tenderloin steaks.
