Grilled Jalapeno Cheeseburgers
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Serves: 4 peopleIngredients:1 lb. Nolan Ryan's All-Natural ground beef 2 tsp. fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped 1-1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1 tomato cut into 4 thin slices 4 hamburger buns, split, toasted
Instructions: In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, jalapeno pepper and chili powder, mixing lightly but thoroughly.
Shape beef mixture into four 1/2- inch thick patties.
Place patties on grill over medium heat. Grill uncovered for 14-16 minutes, or until the center of the patties are no longer pink, turning once. Check with a meat thermometer for an internal temperature of 160°F.
Approximately 1 minute beofre the burgers are done, sprinkle each with 1 Tbsp. cheese.
Place one slice of tomato on bottom half of each bun and top with burger. Close sandwiches and serve.
