While breed and quality grade influences tenderness, more than half of a steak’s tenderness score is influenced by production and handling of the cattle. Our tenderness process is USDA Certified so that we dramatically reduce product variability when compared to other programs.

How Do We Do This?

We make sure all of our bases are covered:

  • All products are raised and processed in the U.S.A.
  • Nolan Ryan licensed feedyards follow strict feeding and handling guidelines
  • Two programs with limited or no use of antibiotics or added growth hormones
  • Only USDA Yield Grades 1 and 2 and “A” maturity beef
  • Minimally processed with no additives or artificial ingredients; never pumped or injected
